Alas, my dove has flown
Flown to a path of its own
As my heart watches it fly
I smiled with no reason to cry

Alas, my dove is flying far away
Away into the dawn of a new day
I feel like I did my part
The organ that aches least is my heart

Alas, my dove has found someone new
Isn't it time I find one too?

I am sincerly, positively happy.
